Dear List Members: I have a Beige G3 and a Blue and White G3. I want to install the Beige's hard drive into the Blue and White, but the Blue and White will not mount the Beige drive. I suspect that there are some driver issues involved, but do not know how to remedy the situation.
I want to make this switch so that I can retain all of the settings that I have been using and not have to re-install any software. Both computers are running OSX (10.4.11). Any ideas? Is there a way to get all of the Beige's data and user information onto the Blue and White's hard drive? Then I could boot from the Blue and White.
