Yes, I try before in a PPC G5 Dual 2.5(this one do not support
ECC)...somebody from this group time ago send me some INFO about ECC can't
be mixed with NON ECC, at that time I was wrong about the model of my Dual
2.5...the very last PPC Dual Core/Single Pro from 05 support ECC and NON

Try this similar solutions...I "almost" get it back the 400 in my G5 Dual
but for some reason the external HD still won't show up even when the
MBoard recognized... 400 with Lack of power I think but the 800 is Ok.This
problem happen often in G5's.Good luck!!!

Yes it is!... G5 with the same problem...I try this 2 possible solution from
two different peoples...I never get it back...But, you can try...
I get a PCI DV1394.Good luck!!!
