I have a literal pile of IDE drives which is why I've been having this long debate with myself on when to go to SATA and which route I take to get there. If I ever make one of my Macs a BBS server that will be the tipping point on the countdown. I agree though that going to SATA interface is no bet

Does anyone have an opinion on Fantom Drives? I own 2 Fantom Drives. I am pleased with both. My first Fantom was USB onlyso it was not bootable. The second is FW and USB 2, is bootable and I use it to back up my main Mac and also have several disc repair programs on this drive. Both
