Can anyone please answer these questions:
1. Can we use G4U for taking image for SUN-sparc/AIX-powerpc/HP-risc
architecture? Because we tried booting Sun-sparc m/c from g4u iso CD but
it given error like Can't boot from CD. But same g4u ISO cd just worked
fine for windows-x86.
2. Can we u
What is required to enable support for this controller? While the
website is very helpful for standard setups, I could not locate any
information on making your own. So I tried to build and added the ciss
support to the g4u kernel file. Perhaps there is more to do?

someone previously posted about the hp/compaq dc7700. this system runs
an intel Q965 Express motherboard:

Hello,
I've been using g4u for about a month. I like to make backups at home of
all my machines with it regularly. It was going well on a few other
machines, but then I got a couple of these new ones to replace my old
file servers. These new ones have an Asus M2NBP-VM CSM motherboard with

I tried to boot to the iso "g4u-2.3beta3.iso" and hangs up part way
through the bootup.
The last line that it prints out before it locks up is:
