your own build, grap NetBSD-current sources from yesterday
(20081122), unpack the g4u source .tgz then cd .../src ; sh
g4u-build and report what happens.
I'd like to hear any reports if this version works better or worse than any
previous alpha version or release, esp. under the light

I've used the g4u programm several times with great pleasure, but now
I run into a
problem with the booting of a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop.
After the CD starts booitng, it panics pretty soon. This happens with
both the 2.3
version and the 2.4alpha which I downloaded one hour ago.
