You could also :
- Supress KB and Service Packs uninstall folders in WINDOWS
directory
- Supress restauration and re-activate just before backup

I used version 2.3 ISO image.
I gave up and used the free version of xxclone.
It would have taken 15+ hours. However, I
haven't tried to boot the duplicate yet.

IMHO, you can use any combinaison of wdN and sdN (N is the hard disk number)
to make "copydisk"
