I have had a little success running G4U under VMWARE under Linux. So
messages can be print-screened, or cut-and-pasted.

I guess you can use the FTP client to upload your dmesg and ifconfig
output somewhere:
dmesg >d
ifconfig -a >i
ftp 1.2.3.4, login & put 'd' and 'i'
