That's pretty early... at that point the kernel was loaded into RAM, but
not started yet. which is why you can ctrl+alt

i have downloaded the latest ubcd and burnt to CD.
i booted my laptop from it (acer ferrari 4005) and get to choose from the
hard drive utilities, g4u for cloning.
i then have the following displayed when trying to load g4u, but it then
seems to hang. anyone have a clue whats going on and h
