Hi Ron,
If memory serves me you head south out of hawklor to dernsig. You head
in to the in and eat a meal. After the meal you will be hired on to
clear out the barn of tarnratts.

Hi Everyone,
I am currently trying to finish the Mirk. I've gotten the staff from the
trees.I tried showing my staff to the old woman but every time I go to her hut
she's not there. My question for the group is to get to the bridge do I enter
to the north or the south when first entering the
You need to head as though you were going to the old woman's house or the
clearing where you got the staff. From the clearing, go two west and then
head north. It's a bit of a long route but it's still fairly simple. There
are several spots after you head north where you have more than two
I'd associate those bots with cybermen as they sound sort of like that.
Or dalecs, all they wanted to do was destroy, these things just want to
exterminate so whats the difference.

Okay this may be a dumb question, especially since I've already gotten past
this quest, but what are Trosks? I have an idea, but I won't say what it
is in case I'm off track.

Well, trosques are large, green scaly serpents of doom lirking around in the
Mirk. If your lucky (or unlucky if your Mr is low), you'll meet one. If you
can manage to bring it down and have the skill of hunting, you can cut off
it's horns and sell them, but to say they are supposed to be ultra
I don't think it was what I was thinking of then. When I went through it I
ended up getting killed by something that had tentacles on it, but I never
managed to kill it so I never found out what it was.

Try these.
these were given to me by somebody from the Sryth forum a loong time
ago,, and following them certainly got me to the temple.
Directions to Tepthog's temple.
Thanks to odinlowejr88 of the Sryth.com forum for
providing these directions.
There is a creature with lots of tenticles if I remember rightly (I think
it's just called tenticled horror or something simmilar), but this is
deffinately not a Trosque, just a hard monster. you don't get anything
special for killing it besides Xp.
Beware the Grue!

They're the giant serpents that show up every now and then, the ones with
the horns that you can remove if you have Woodsmanship. They're also quite
strong and will almost certainly make mince meat out of anyone with a melee
rating below at least forty-five.
It ain't pretty when the pretty
No no, you head west two spaces from the trees, then head north. Follow that
path and you'll come to a few places where you have more than just the two
choices of where to go. For instance you'd go north, then have the choice of
going south and west, so you'd head west. Then you had the choice

Actually here's an interesting question.
When part way through combat with say a Troll, if you leave and then
return to continue the fight, does your opponent have any damage from the
earlier encounter? Or does the creatures SP return to full?
