Phil, thanks for this. It's sad, but I didn't know this was there. I
guess I'll have to fill in some of the holes on it since part of this
entry is incomplete.
Way cool.
Thanks.

I have a couple of questions about Jim Kitchen's trucking game, aptly

First, is it actually possible to turn a profit by following all road rules?
Second, do the different truck models actually effect gameplay I.E.

Hi Tom.
Well bare in mind that I grew up carting laptops around in the days when it
wasn't uncommon for a machine to have a floppy drive and cd drive as well, a
full sized keyboard and a 15 inch screen, so my deffinitions of "slim line"
are rather different to other peoples ;D.

Hi Dark,
Exactly my point. I think far too often people mistake Netbooks for a
type of inexpensive and slim line type of laptop which they are not.
Oh, they are nice and handy if you are someone who needs to run
standard day to day apps like Word, Excel, Quicken, Firefox, etc but
beyond that you ar

That is essentially what put me off getting one myself, the lack of ability
to do things with it.
I think I'll probably just wait until my laptop explodes, by which time
there should be powerful enough slim line laptops which will fulfill the
need very well.
Beware the grue!

Hi Will,
I'm sure that will help some, but in my opinion Netbooks aren't
exactly a good option for games of any kind. Keep in mind they are
only designed to be notetakers with wireless web access so can't
handle a lot of applications that require heavy system resources. Some

Hi Lisa,'
You can get Last Week Before the Wedding on the adult interactive
fiction community web site. Specifically here is the directory where
you can grab the zip file. You'll need Adrift 4.0 or higher to play
it.
