I never have heard those songs mentioned.
I never knew of their existance.

Hi,
That would be me. Space Invaders all the way.
Man it's been ages since I heard the Space Invaders song or Packman
Fevor on the radio. Wouldn't hurt the pop/rock stations to give us 80's
nurds some of our favorite classics again.
I was just a kid when those songs came out, and I use to crank t
s to be linked together in rows.
That is also the missing element needed to do a Centipede game.

Hi,
Interesting thing about Berserk was I loved to take the little guy and
run him in to the electrified walls. Then ihe would get zapped. That was
funner than playing the game sometimes.
Yars Revenge was cool as well, but I don't think I played it much as my

I'd have to look around, but i may still have copies of Jungle Hunt and

Yes. That is for sure. I would kill for a really cool 3D flight sim. Of
course, I have so many different projects right now I can't even think
about one at the moment.

Oh, Yeah. that would rock! There is currently nothing like the original
space invaders.
Many of the accessible clones are good, but they lack a few things such
as avoiding the bombs the invaders tried to drop on you. The three
walls/shields you could hide under, and the row upon row of descendin

Hi,
I think for me while the Atari games were only 2D no 3D anything to them
they had huge appeal and replay value to them back then. They were fun
for many reasons. They didn't have stellar graphics and sound, but the
story lines and game play was fun. Which is the only thing that really

Hi,
Now that I think about it Lonewolf comes closest to a 3D environment. It
does offer all the 3D directions and I believe many of the objects are
drawn in 3D. The only thing lacking in that game is a Virtual 3D
environment for sound.
However, as you were saying i don't think all the game devs
Hi,
Glad I was able to bring clarification to the subject. What I mean by 3D
games and what the general accessible gamers think of 3D seams to be two
different things. They generally assume if audio is virtual 3D the game
is 3D. What I am usually talking about with 3D is a full environment.

Hi Michael,
As to why there aren't many truly 3D games it could have several
answers. One could be complexity to write. They do tend to have slightly
higher math requirements for calculating vectors etc... Although, I
think most people had some of that in high school calculus. Another

Well I'm looking forward to full and cool 3D games you're dreaming of then.

Hi Lukas,
In your post you stated there have been several good 3D games for the
blind written. You mind naming me a few? To my knolege there are none in
the accessible games market.
Keep in mind that I am not talking virtual 3D audio. I am talking fully
3d. That means you have six, I repeat six
