Hi Phil,
For my birthday my home health care aid just bought me the new Bop It with shout
mode. It is shaped a bit differently than the original Bop It. And because of the
way that you must hold it to play the shout mode, I found out that I have been always
holding the original model up
still on the beginner's level while my wife is in the middle of expert
level.

to activate the game, just follow the voiced directions and get ready to bop
it, twist it, pull it, or shout it!
But make sure you do it before the buzzer sounds!

Yes the new model has a volume control, just turn the dial when not playing
and it will speak the choices with different volumes.

The new version has a new input called Shout It which requires players to
shout into the microphone.
