a Star Wars MUD (I think that's what it was called too, Star Wars MUD). I
couldn't think of a good name, so I entered my own, my theory being that if
Luke Skywalker was a good name in the series, why not Kelly Sape
eeder (and yes, she was also my character from
sryth, but I rather liked her so thought I'd use her again).

Same here, I personally ended up with a couple of sudden insite
moments, but your perfectly fine to just use your own name. Of
course, it's probably fine to go with a favorite movie character
or something.
