Hey all
I was wondering if when installing the net framework 2.0 would it be best
to uninstall the previous version or does it overwrite 1.1 without any
problems? I just finished the direct x install but wasn't sure about this
application.

Hi Ron,
The 2.0 and 1.1 .NET Frameworks can exist side by side on your system.
All that said uninstalling 1.1 and running 2.0 is fine as long as you
don't have any framework apps that directly depend on it as STFC beta did.

I don't think it's a good idea to uninstall .Net Framework 1, because
some programs and games still require it. .Net Framework 1 and 2 can run
at the same time without any problems, so I advice you not to uninstall
.Net Framework 1.

I tried to uninstall 1.1 but then windows update still asks you for it.
v1.1 and 2.0 run seperately from eachother.
You can probably kill 1.0 if you have it since its really not needed.
