have shopkeepers buy items for reasonable gold prices. For all
intents and purposes, it's best to just assume shopkeepers will never
have the gold to buy anything.

I was just wondering if npc shop keepers ever buy anything?
Every time I try to sell something, I get "so and so isn't interested in
that item right now" even when it's one they stock themselves!
I finish up just sacrificing any spell comps I find, pluss most weapons and
other stuff, ---
