Thanks for taking a look! Hopefully the changes will make it into a future
release. All of the servers I'm monitoring
at the moment run Solaris 9 and the metric values appear to agree with what I
see in 'top'.

sorry for taking so long. I tried it out under Solaris 8 with
gcc-3.3.1 and it seems to work as advertised. It definitely can now be
run as non-root and in background. Great work. Should be considered for
2.5.6.
No I can actually start working on adding some more metrics :-)
