Matt, it looks like you have made provisions for some kind of host proxy
mechanism. Is it functional
to the point where I can send gmetric messages on behalf of others?

may I suggest that you drop cpu_intr/cpu_sintr from the default
collection group in the gmond.conf file. Both metrics are provided for
detail and should only be exposed if the interest exists. Their values
are accounted for in the cpu_system metrics.
