Before 3.1.3, /etc/ganglia was hardcoded into various places in the code
As of 3.1.3, the code refers to $sysconfdir If configure is called without specifying --prefix or --sysconfdir, then the default value is /usr/etc/ganglia configure.in could be tweaked to check if the user has explicitly given --prefix or --sysconfdir - does anyone have any preference for the circumstances in which we try to mimic the old behavior? In other words, should we default to /etc/ganglia only if neither --prefix or --sysconfdir is given? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Ganglia-developers mailing list Ganglia-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ganglia-developers
