Cygwin 1.7 was released recently, and it only seems safe to assume that people will try to use Ganglia on it
Has anyone done extensive testing on Cygwin 1.7 and are there any recommendations for updating README.WIN? If there is no feedback, then I may include a disclaimer to say that Ganglia 3.1.6 has only been tested with Cygwin 1.5, and that users of any newer Cygwin should proceed with extra care or wait for more testing. I did a fresh install of Cygwin 1.7 on XP. Ganglia 3.1.5 r2252 has built from the tarball without any fuss. My libtool issues have not come back again. gmond appears to be running fine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com _______________________________________________ Ganglia-developers mailing list Ganglia-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ganglia-developers
