Cygwin 1.7 was released recently, and it only seems safe to assume that 
people will try to use Ganglia on it

Has anyone done extensive testing on Cygwin 1.7 and are there any 
recommendations for updating README.WIN?

If there is no feedback, then I may include a disclaimer to say that 
Ganglia 3.1.6 has only been tested with Cygwin 1.5, and that users of 
any newer Cygwin should proceed with extra care or wait for more testing.

I did a fresh install of Cygwin 1.7 on XP.  Ganglia 3.1.5 r2252 has 
built from the tarball without any fuss.  My libtool issues have not 
come back again.  gmond appears to be running fine.
