I am back with a new problem.
We have a new cluster-1250 compute nodes, 10,000 cores in 3 rows. Each row is
a composed of two subnets, Gb management and 10Gb for production.
We would like to have each gmond multicast in its own subnet have a gmetad on
each row on a ganglia node. The only

Hello All,
I push grid technology both here where I work, and with a consortium of
universities and colleges I am a member of. We too are using Ganglia as the
monitoring platform of choice. Since we are using the Globus Toolkit which has
hooks for Ganglia it makes things easy.
Hello Gurus,
I manage a number of clusters and grids, the largest current stand at about
2000 nodes increasing to 3200 in the next 3-4 months. Each domain is stand
alone.
The largest cluster is broken into a number of subdomains depending on what it
is used for (compute/queue,
Hey All,
Anyone have an XML parser or pointer for more
information for gmetad? I am trying to get a

The simplicity is a major plus as well as the
integration w/ Globus. With a little thinking you can
extend the reporting easily.
The only think I with I had was notification. I have
a large cluster and a number a smaller (128 nodes)
and it would make it easier for us to be proactive.
So I am
