worked fine for me. Check the debugging output at start-up with the '-d
99' flag, you should get output warning you of this if you didn't.

I assume you're compiling with a 64-bit compiler .. this is required. It
runs fine on my Ultra 10s after I went to gcc 3.2.2 built as
sparcv9-sun-solaris2.9. What does 'file gmond' tell you? What does the
debugging output tell you if you run it manually with '-d 99
you want to use it before
the system libs)? That should be all you need past editing conf.php if you
use the web frontend, and perhaps changing your $PATH.
I could be wrong, but if you're just trying to compile something with
non-standard header and library locations, that's usually all that

changed those ports in the .conf files.
If these give you problems, start from the basics .. try telnetting to those
ports manually and seeing if the output is correct. If that doesn't work to
begin with, then you have other problems.
