chine will have to "trust"
your web server. to do that.. add the following line to the remote
machines /etc/gmond.conf
trusted_hosts
or if you are on a secure net
all_trusted on
will allow any host to get the info from gmond.
good luck!

Hello.
This is a problem with ganglia displays which I have faced before. I would

Hi David,
There might be an error with the RRD insallation. You would want to check
if the RRDs are in the appropriate directory
eg : /var/lib/ganglia/rrds and is specified accordingly in the GMETAD
configuration on the main host.
Hope this helps.

I reckon one of the reasons may be that the gmetad is not running on the
webserver. Atleast that is what I gather fromyour mail.
I suggest that either you have your webserver running the gmetad or that
you have gmetad running on the webserver as well as your other node.
Hope it helps
Thanks to Brian Steve and Matt, I have ganglia up and running on my
cluster. Finally !!!
The URL "http://hepfm000.uta.edu"; will take you there.
The debug level setting that Brian suggested helped me to get gmond
running and then Matts "revised" installation instructions pulled me
through. Of
