We got to your beautiful campus the last time we played Ark in Fayetville and
visited your impressive basketball dome for a pre-football game pork BBQ and,
of course, enjoyed the football game in your excellent stadium. We look
forward to being able to come up for both basketball, football and
Radio for sure. Sometimes on TV, but most folks are relegated to
watching RazorVision, which is the U of A's online video subscription
business. It's notoriously fouled up and is embarrassing, to be quite
honest :)
So, might as well go to the local games anyway :)
Maybe y'all can head up this way
I know-I was just sayin'...I like 52-12 when possible.

Sorry - I must have not been clear.
I did NOT say that we would not need an offense.
Remember the years that SOS had no defense and we had to out score our opponents?

I remember the great defenses of the late 80's. With no offense, we lost
a number of heartbreakers 13-10, 17-14, 10-7it was awful. You need
to be able to score too.

Perhaps... but do we really want to leave it to the D to win for us? We
should be able to win with effective play on both sides of hte ball.

Burton will be a freshman this year, Driskel will most likely redshirt in
2011, giving them 2 years separation. Perfect.

Just who was that brilliant sportswriter who said the good quarterbacks
wouldn't want to come to Florida now?

After the defenders that we signed last year - our defense in 3 years should be our best defense ever.
So whoever the QB is - will have the advantage of a great defense (offense will not have to win games for us).

He's not even the only QB on Fla's radar according to the recruiting
sites... there are several 5 star prospects that have Florida listed.
Who knows what will happen between now and then.

Assuming Brantley stays next year, Burton keeps progressing like he did over the spring, Burton concentrates only on football, and Driskel splits time between football and baseball, but Driskel is a better QB than Burton coming out of high school
hard to predict who will have the advantage when
