Like I said in a previous post, my choice for the starting 5 OL are Nixon/Patchen, Johnson, Robey, Pouncey, Gilbert. Even when Pouncey made a good snap, I thought the OL struggle, Hurt and Halapio were unimpressive on the right side. Getting Nixon and Johnson back this week should stabilize that

Rumors are that Florida coaches told Pouncey that if he came back - he could move to center and become best center in America - ala his brother. I think Pouncey will correct the problem - even though he does not how - but what if he doesn't? Would Meyer's stubbornness, I mean loyalty, prevent

Keith, you appear to be drawing proper conclusions from the stats you put forth. BUT... You have to keep in mind those are stats from ONE game. Does a general draw up an entire war plan from the plans made for one battle? No, of course they don't! We have to keep in mind that we haven't watched

I think instead of doing wholesale changes based on one game's results - we really need to assume that the coaches who have won 2 NC's in the past 4 years know what they are doing with the talent that they have. I agree with that point. But we have seen Moody and Demps for several years now.

Somehow, I missed this information. I knew Robey had banged his arm. Didn't catch that they were considering moving Pouncey back to guard. I saw the Pouncey's play in high school. Lakeland is about 30 mins away from Plant City. One was a tackle the other a guard. Neither had played center

Demps isn't making plays? Are you, or anyone else, really saying that? Who was it then, that had the 70 yard run for a touchdown? Was that Gillislee? Let's all sit down, relax, and let them play next week. Then, if they're all still as bad as some say, let's all jump over and start wearing

I will admit that Himes and Gilislee were the most impressive offensive players yesterday. I am not prepared to change the plan based on the results of one game. My issue was the poor performance by the OL. Discounting the bad snaps, we essentially started 5 guys in new positions and it showed.

With a patchwork line (something else to gripe about) Demps averaged 4.3 yards a carry. That doesn't include his long run. That's as good or better than most of NFL backs with solid OLs. The whole team was off yesterday, many of its members were at proms just 3 months ago. New quarterback,

True. Sure Demps goes down easier than a 250 lb running back. He's little compared to them. But don't try to tell me that pound for pound he isn't as tough as anyone. Look at yesterday's effort. He only went down in several cases after he drove through 3 or 4 defenders. Sent from my Verizon
