Yeah, Jefferson said something in his quote that made me think they are waiting
to see what happens with Patterson. Maybe the point is that, if Patterson is
successful, they will make the same argument, but if he isn't, then they will
take a different approach.

I know! I was shocked by that too. Someone said on a podcast that hardship
transfers rules have changed recently, and it’s much more difficult to get a
hardship transfer without having to sit a year. Whichever podcast I heard it
on, also said that UF is waiting to see what happens with Shea P
