Lets start with an apology from the heart. G-Parties are not all that bad. Now dont think why am I changing my tone all of a sudden... No I didnt meet anyone mind-blowing last night, but just that last night was an eye opener.
After a lot of deliberation I had decided to visit my very first G-Party. And Bangalore(India) has its reputation of hosting some of the best G-Parties, so I thought, lets see whats the hub-bub is all about.
So there was Aura... a pub hosting a Christmas Party for all... a wonderful collection of men and women ... from all ages, class, race and sexuality ... and standing there watching them move with the rhythm... some gracefully.. some not so gracefully... some so evidently in love.. some .. well not so ...
And as eyes met and bodies
touched... new acquaintances made while old ones returned ... amidst it all I realised what was it all about ... its about feeling yourself without any fear of being judged... Letting out your sexuality without having to worry about the comfort zone of the world ... and its about the hope of meeting some1 new ... some with the intention of just another good time.. some with the dream of meeting someone special ...
Amidst all the touching, giggling, pansy talks, manly talks, business talks, political analysis, gossips, bulge watching, ice breaking, smooching and coupling (oh and pinching ... LOL) ... there was familiarity and comfort ... And for once .. it seemed like a world of our very own ...
