Recently Dr. Narendra Vaidya, a trauma surgeon from sion hospital has started EMS [emergency medical service] on mumbai-pune expressway.
This is with joint efforts from MMRDA and Sion Hospital, Mumbai. This emergency care is certified by American College of Surgeons. The service provides well equiped ambulance service on expressway for any trauma within 15mins.
