'DANCING QUEENS'
(Glimpses of Bollywood's dancing divas)
'Dancing Queens' is a performance by drag queens of aamchi Mumbai. They
will walk you through some of best Hindi film dance numbers filmed on
Bollywood divas.
The proceeds of the event will be used to (partly) meet expenses of the
Queer Azaadi March to be held on 16 August 2009.
QAM 2009 is a celebration of sexuality and a statement of being proud of
ourselves. The march is an effort to mainstream issues of sexual minorities
and work towards addressing issues of stigma and discrimination in society.
Come and encourage the dancing divas.
