We feel proud to announce that, with support from World Comics, under their effort titled “Grassroots Comics”, we at The Humsafar Trust had organized a 3 full day workshop on developing comics . 20 members from Humsafar Parivar had participated in this workshop, and had developed 15 stories, on health and social issues related to MSM / Gay and TG / HIJRA communities.
Further, these stories are being converted into comics, which have came out well as a communication material to communicate the message of the MSM / Gay and TG / HIJRA to the mainstream society and related stake holders.

We are also organizing a competition on the same day, with the community members from MSM / Gay and TG / HIJRA in developing more realistic stories through comics between 06:00PM – 07:00PM at the HST DIC. The comic stories developed in the competition, will be judged and awarded on the same day.
BEST COMIC STORIES WILL BE COMPILED AS A COMMUNICATION MATERIAL AND WILL USE THE SAME TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE RELATED STAKE HOLDERS AND MAINSTREAM POPULATION BY THE HUMSAFAR TRUST
