Yes, sadly, Zoltan seems to have missed it. Though it has to be said
that the winner is mucho hot. Here's his pic:

The runner up is Mr.Venezuela (well, he won the swimsuit round) and
second runner up is Mr.UK. Mr. Photogenic was also Mr.Argentina, and
Mr.Philanthropy was Mr.Cuba for apparently raising donations for the
Noble Beast Foundation, whatever that is. Sadly, Mr. Popular, which
was decided on the basis of online votes was Mr.Brazil - also a big
country, like us, and with a much more open gay scene, so I'm
guessing he got votes from there (and he is hot).

Its a pity they didn't have a Mr.Courage, since it certainly took
that for Zoltan to take part in this event, especially given the sort
of flak he got when the story broke last week. Headlines Today did a
programme where they got some of the usual nutcases like Poornima
Advani fulminating on how people like Zoltan were destroying Indian
families. I know he was badly rattled by this, and by the effect it
might have on his family, and I hope that didn't affect his
performance.

Anyway, even if he didn't win anything, I'd say it was great that he
took part and we certainly owe him for going it through with it. I
hope we'll be able to get a candidate next year, and I wonder if we
should look at a more proactive role in getting one?
