What a lucid demonstration on where we stand viv a vis another practicing Democracy.Our man required the question to be asked twice before pausing a full minute to dismiss same sex marriage as unacceptable to most Indians,while his Canadian counterpart made it his duty to reiterate the principle of giving all minorities their place in the sun.Standing beside him were Canadian Sikh parlimentarians basking in the glow of these very principles.
