Dear All, I have been given a warning from a source that I belive to be reliable, but I am not at liberty to disclose. It concerns this person called Prashant, who has not only been writing derogatory things about the Jdges and about the 377 judgement, he has also deliberately been provocative towards leaders of the community and have been trying to elicit comments from all such.
This Prashant person either does not exist or exists only as a front for an organisation that is a part of the 377 litigation and is up in appeal against the Delhi HC judgement. In the past a response to this Prashant person's email was actually used in the Supreme Court to seek a stay on the judgement of the Delhi High Court. I belive this warning to have merit because one of the main arguements of the opposition has been that gay men are asking for marriage for gay men, which would harm families, and the mails of Prashant has been exactly to elicit support for this theory, quoting outrageous theories, which if they find any support from the LGBT constituency is surely to weaken the case before the Supreme Court. Moreover if anyone actually supports his theories against the judiciary that would pit the LGBT movement against the Judiciary. In effect I do belive that he is a MOLE working for the opposition. Therefore while I cannot ask that anyone be banned on the list, I ask every sensible person on the list to PLEASE PLEASE refrain from reacting in any manner whatsoever to anything that this Prashant writes. Please give him the cold shoulder, or just reply stating "No Comments to MOLES". I am looking forward to this Prashant charecter comming forward and identifying his bona-fides verifiably and openly to disprove this theory and this warning.
