Hi, i tried to compile gcc 4.1.0 (the final release) on windows, too. I'm using msys and configured the buildprocess with "--enable-threads=win32 --with-win32-nlsapi=unicode". On the msys console i type "make" and after a while i get the error with the Makefile on line 1277. I make the fix and continue, then I get the error "*** No rule to make target `/mingw/MinGW/bin/../lib/gcc/mingw32/3.4.2/../../../../mingw32/bin/ld.exe', needed by `stamp-collect-ld'. Stop." in the folder gcc.
