Hi Ralf,
the segmentation fault didn't arise while generating "conftest" without
optimization. After some debugging of xgcc I found out that the segfault was
taking place during redundancy el

I finally found out that the "inhibit_libc" flag was set during the gcc
compilation because I'm building a cross-compiler without sysroot and headers.
As a consequence _gcov_* functions ar
