This PR can now be closed, basing on up to date comments from John David Anglin
([EMAIL PROTECTED]), which indicate that now shared versions of libgcc
are
built on both 32 and 64-bit ports. He also remarks that "it's technically wrong
to link the shared version of libstdc++ with libgcc.a and libgcc_eh.a as this
could lead to duplicate symbols".
