To reinforce comment #34, the MIPS16 hard-float support has
been overhauled in 4.3, with this and many other bugs fixed.
The MIPS16 problem therefore only affects 4.2 now.

I am getting this with 4.2.2 on ARM926EJ-S processor during bootstrap.
