gcc-4.3.1 seems to have a tough time building glibc as far as I can tell. We initially had problems due to the issue described in Bug #35802. After that was fixed, I tested that patch (pieced together from CVS) against 4.3.1, and attempted glibc again, and now I'm getting a different error that I can't find any pointers on what the cause may be. Figured I'd start here to figure out whether the problem is in gcc, glibc, or some patch we (Gentoo) are applying (or not applying).
