i have an issue with postgres driver and SRID fetching from table. The
following code doesn't work correct on all cases:
When you have a table with NULL values in the geometry column, then this can
code returns an invalid SRID.
Why not get this information from geometry_columns - table ?

Hi board
I have spent along time trying to load some geotiffs into rasterlite. Either
via gdal or the raster_load.exe
Both result in a black tile being shown when I open the Rasterlite file in
qgis
My original file is a geotiff with colour palette.
I thought this may have been a problem so
I have a .KML File and .PNG file or a .TIF along with a .GEO file that
my application exports.
Once there, I need to convert these to a shape file for mailing lists,
but so far I have only found several application extensions that do
this, but nothing command line. I believe that the

Dennis,
ogr2ogr can convert a kml file to a shapefile if built with the kml or libkml
drivers (I recommend the libkml driver, it offers many more features).
