Yes. Well "up to", of course, but Alessandro is providing us some more capacity.

Hi Howard,
To be clear, this is a 50% time increase for Alessandro, yes? I think
that's great!

I am running GDAL 3.4.1, released 2021/12/27
I don’t need the fill style as I can fill that with code, just need the
geometry.
I added it though not really sure what value to use. Based on the current
options I used --config DXF_HATCH_TOLERANCE value vs --config
DXF_HATCH_TOLERANCE=value as

What version of ogr2ogr are you using?
Look at the .dxf driver page:
https://gdal.org/drivers/vector/dxf.html
HATCH: Line and arc boundaries are collected as a polygon geometry, but
no effort is currently made to represent the fill style of HATCH
entities. Behavior is affected by the
I went with calling ogr2ogr through os.system, but another issue I have been
having with the ogr2ogr is that my polygons are not converted to what I guess
is considered in AutoCAD as hatches since that is the layer that is shown for
those polygons when I open the DXF. I just get line features.

PSC,
I'm a little late but I would like to make the following motions in regards to
GDAL maintainers:
* Authorize Alessandro Pasotti for up to 30 hrs/month with a rate increase of
10 euros/hr until 30 NOV 2024.
* Authorize Even Rouault for up to 90 hrs/month with a rate increase of 10 $/hr
Hi List,
So, after more investigation:
* Using Python Anaconda on either Mac or Linux for GDAL (3.7.1),
`GetSpatialRef` triggers a RunTime Error for all shapefiles (but only
shapefiles).
* This happens on Ubuntu (two machines), and a Mac, but only under PyCharm.
* Using the exact same
Hi,
The actual error seems to be that you try to write some geometry that is not a
linestring into a GeoPackage table that has created with a constraint that
makes it accept only linestrings. You do that by using "-nlt linestring".
You have two options. The fast one is to use "-nlt geometry"
