I know what you mean about the red-bits in the vitamin. They are the hardest part to dissolve in my vitamin soup. I would like to try herpnutrition but I am very turned away by inconvenient ordering and short shelf-life. I don't mind frequent ordering but shipping here can get pretty expensive. I

Well I figured one thing out. The "shiny" spot is probably due to improper shed. Over the past sheds there was probaby some left over skin that didn't come off and as he pulled to get it off it tore his skin. I'm slowly working the shed off of the gecko now and the skin on this spot is very thick.
