Hello! I created a new symbol LDR-03.sym and BC108-1.sym and saved these in gEDA/gaf/gschem-sym/resistors and gEDA/gaf/gschem-sym/transistors. I edit the gafrc file so I can use these symbols. I made a new schematic and used these symbols there. Then I run refdes_renum on this schematic and ge

Any gerber experts out there who know if the below is valid rs274x? The thing I'm worried about is that after the G74 there are linear interpolations, but there's no explicit return to linear mode from the previous G75 circular. Gc-prevue displays it as it's meant to be, but gerbv doesn't. If I put

The only problem with the scanner is if there are bigger components on the pcb the image gets unsharp because the pcb doesn't lay flat on the glass. If your scanner has the option of a document feeder, then it will have a setting that allows you to focus above the glass. If you drive it with X

There's also the bulkier "QX5" microscope made by a company apparently now owned by Intel, which cleans 640x480 resolution and sells for half the price. I have one of those, maybe it is the older QX3, not home to look right now. Years ago Intel had a line of "Toys", and sold these as educati
