Hi folks,
I just ran across something on the internet that I thought might be
interesting to list members:

This is a full GPLed chip design system.

Thanks Ben! Your patch did the trick!
Great plugins you wrote by the way, especially distalign is usefull
when working on a small grid!

I still haven't gotten around to figuring out git, but from what I
understand it would be great for someone in my position. I'd try
it if it were available.

Is the pad square? Not just "squared" but exactly square? If so, I
have a patch for that (I

[jg]Yes, but this can happen by using grid snap and the cursor position.
A helpful feature here would be thin lines extending in X and Y
all across the view

Works fine for me.
Copper clearance works fine too.

It's not my place to make such decisions.

Yes. coordinates are always "flipped" by changing the Y value, and
leaving the X value alone.

Thanks for making me double check John!
I just found out that I forgot to assign the layer-groups of the
solder-side and the component-side.
I feel kind of stupid... :$. (Though the layernames "solder" and
"component" kinda suggest that it's already done during the gsch2pcb
conversion).
That being

Are you sure that the pad and trace are on the same layer?
Also mention the soldermask clearance around the 1206 elements, a
report of the pad shows a correct 3 mil clearance, but thats nowhere
near what PCB shows. The old 2007-02-08 snapshot shows the mask
correctly though...
