Hi Everyone
I am slowly getting the picture and starting to understand the work flow
in gDEA. However it would be really great to have a complete project to
tinker with. Are there any sample projects that would have files that
were used with gschem, pcb, gerbv etc..? If I could use them to

The work flow? There are many. That's the most important thing you need to
understand.

I used gEDA/PCB to do a remix of ladyada's drawdio remix. The zip
file contains the schematic (with embedded symbols) and the
PCB file. No gerbers but just do an export from the PCB

Hi John Luciani
Thanks very much for the link, I will definitely give this a go.
Hi John Doty
Thanks for your post. I understand now that there are many work flows.
My project will be small, I am basically trying to design a GPIB to
Ethernet converter with a few twists. It will likely be a

I use it mostly for testing out new components. I have added a
micro-sd module for it, and most recently it's wired up to a new
ethernet chip from micrel.
I wrote a pair of articles about that pod for Circuit Cellar a while
back, too.

Yes, I got microsd working. Next time, though, I'm putting a P-MOSFET
on the power line so I can software power cycle it.
