To followup on this... I panelized the boards myself (i.e. load layout data to paste-buffer, then multiple pastes) and OLIMEX was able to handle the result, even with LPC's in the gerber files. The panelization on this job was somewhat extreme: 42 0.600"x0.850" boards onto 160mmx100mmx1.5m

It appears that the boundingbox that is calculated by ps2epsi is off by one point (or a fraction of a point) when converting some postscript files (like the ones I included in my document). I was able to remove the cropping that is present in one of my epsi files by changing the boundingbox. (*
