I obviously had a problem since there was no 'geeqie' to be found in
/src ...
Not sure what the problem was but I re-ran configure and make and this
time I do have ver 1.1 in /src
that correctly works.
Thanks for the support.

Hello,
I just found some interest to use Geeqie on the purpose to sort out my
images.
The only option that I couldn't find is that lists are generate only on
the current working directory.
So I made a collection generator which should look recursively into a
directory and sub-direcotries as well.

I appear to have an ongoing problem trying to start the git version:
Double clicking "Geeqie" in the ~/geeqie-1.1 folder file appears to
work correctly but
the command "~/geeqie-1.1/Geeqie" fails.
I may in fact still be simply opening the old version! I show version
1.0 whatever I do.
David
Is there an established goal, or set of goals, for Geeqie? If so where
will I find them.
If the direction is already clearly stated somewhere it should be much
easier to prioritize the next development.
