time I do have ver 1.1 in /src
that correctly works.

Double clicking "Geeqie" in the ~/geeqie-1.1 folder file appears to
work correctly but
the command "~/geeqie-1.1/Geeqie" fails.
I may in fact still be simply opening the old version! I show version
1.0 whatever I do.
