I am not sure if that is the best way, but for me the following works:
- - mkdir -p /usr/local/share/locale/{de,sv}/LC_MESSAGES
- - ln -s $PWD/po/de.mo /usr/local/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/geeqie.mo
- - ln -s $PWD/po/sv.mo /usr/local/share/locale/sv/LC_MESSAGES/geeqie.mo
- - Maybe you have to call "make de.mo; make sv.mo" by hand inside the po
directory. (Surly you can left the german locales out. ;-)
Compile geeqie with the standard settings, set your locales to the right
value and start geeqie.
