Hi, sorry for taking a while to get back to you. The cxx-config code is not quite correct, although it basically works in most cases. It fails to build with the systemc integration, but you don't want to use gem5's built in systemc kernel anyway, if you're going to run it inside another external systemc simulation. The util/systemc/gem5_within_systemc/README was updated to tell you to set USE_SYSTEMC=0 on the command line, but it looks like we forgot to update the tlm one. Ideally we'll fix the underlying issue one of these days, but there are a lot of things to fix and only so much time. So, to get the build to work, add USE_SYSTEMC=0 to the scons command line.
