locally I have configured SWIG 2.0.11.
Even after setting SWIG_LIB to local swig installation, the script won't
detect same. PATH variable includes path to local installation.
Please let me know where am I going wrong ?

I got to know that, this may be due to : mod.__package__ =
fullname.rpartition('.')[0] , which calls rpartition of a string object and
this method was introduced in 2.5 and I'm on 2.4.3 ?

This issue was resolved after I locally compiled Python 2.5.6. This means
the latest version of gem5 stable needs at least 2.5 Python.
We need to update the dependencies wiki page accordingly ?

I had the same issue. I opted for Python 2.5.6
increase now.
After checking the frames I see it shows booting of Android, execution,
opening of pages and termination of browser application. The last frame
shows browser page with Michigan logo and details of pages opened and their
stats.
Does this mean the simulation is working properl

I think you need to use Python 2.5.

the applications/kernels.
I don't have much information apart from the segmentation fault message.
Compiling as static and dynamic throws same error.
Could anyone point what might be going wrong?
