Summer of 1956 I worked as an operating engineer for the
TV station in town on Government street on Sundays and
at the radio transmitter out at the edge of town other days.
The radio studio was across Government street from the
TV station. We didn't even have a microphone or turntable
out at th
Sorda along the same lines...
I was listening to a local radio station one night and the station
went off the air, the carrirer was there, just no modulation. About 30
seconds later, what got broadcast? The Microsoft Windows XP startup
wav file :)
